Crosswalk at 28th & Wasco

Making it easier and safer to cross 28th to go to Fred Meyer is a priority for the neighborhood. Your correspondent had overlooked the fact that there already IS a striped crosswalk at Wasco and 28th until the city applied new "zebra stripes" last week.

Hopefully, our efforts to get additional striping at other intersections on 28th, especially closer to the playground, will pay off. - Dave Brook
