Time:  1:00 – 4:00 PM

Weidler @ 17th Avenue

The Sullivan’s Gulch Neighborhood Association Land Use and Transportation Committee (SGNA-LUTC) invite you to attend the Third Annual Sullivan’s Gulch Charrette

The charrette program format provides the community with an opportunity to hear distinguished speakers presenting topics and material that are relevant to issues impacting NE Portland.  Speakers provide vital history and future perspectives that help us focus on what is important to our neighborhood and arm us with information that may not otherwise be readily available to us.

An update of community activities will be presented by the Land Use and Transportation chairs from Eliot, Irvington, Grant Park, and Sullivan’s Gulch.  Each speaker will talk about their neighborhood informing us of ongoing and future activities in their neighborhoods and along the Broadway Commercial Corridor.

In addition to guest speakers, the charrette provides an opportunity for citizen input focused on questions that relate to the day’s topics.  The Sullivan’s Gulch infrastructure corridor sometimes referred to as “the gulch” will be the main topic.  Bike lanes along the Broadway/Weidler commercial corridor will also be discussed and the bike connections that are needed to connect Broadway with “the gulch”. Tables will be arranged to accommodate six to eight individuals and each table will be supported by a member of the SGNA-LUTC, a city staff member, a neighboring LUTC member, or one of the guest speakers.
