SGNA - Communications Committee - One door closes, another opens…a tribute to work well done.

Communications Committee Chair Resigns

Brenn Simonen, Chair of the Sullivan's Gulch Neighborhood Association Communications committee resigned her post today. In the two years - plus - since Ms. Simonen joined the Board of SGNA she has brought her intelligence talents and energy to the service of the neighborhood, most particularly in bringing the Communications Committee to a new, more professional and technologically accomplished level. She recruited an equally talented and energetic group of neighbors to help her, most notably, one of the Gulch's most excellent new young mothers, Natasha Stanley.

The Board wishes Ms. Simonen the greatest of success with her efforts and energies. The Board also wishes to thank those who worked with her, and asks that they consider working on with the Committee as it seeks a new leader to continue in service to the business of the Gulch.

With the construction of Grant Park Village at NE 33rd And NE Broadway and the eagerly anticipated opening of the New Seasons, as well as a host of other lifestyle and and development issues presented to the Gulch, the Communications Committee is a critical part of the daily business and events.

Ms. Simonen saw this from the beginning and worked tirelessly to build a platform of support.

It is now our job to honor her commitment and contribution and build on it.

The Board reaches out to ask those in the neighborhood interested in working with or already working with the Committee to contact a Board member and arrange to join the team.

Having the fortune to find another such as Ms. Simonen would be rare.

Sincerely,

Sullivan's Gulch Neighborhood Association
Board Chair
