The City realized they had made a mistake in the published cost of leaf collection for Sullivan's Gulch and recently reminded residents that the cost will be $30 per single-family residence. As a result the City announced an extension of the opt-out deadline until Tuesday, Nov. 20. For details, you're best off calling 503-865-5323 as the city web site is confusing. Remember that even if you opt-out you still MUST REMOVE ALL VEHICLES FROM THE STREET on Friday, December 14 or you will be towed!
To make it easier to find a place to store your vehicle, SGNA has secured permission for residents to park overnight and following day at:
• Grace Memorial Episcopal Church parking lot - NE 16th and Halsey (do not use row next to the church)
• Fred Meyer parking lot - use spaces along the grassy park area only; you must display a signed waiver form on dashboard - instructions for getting the form will be posted on this website closer to the leaf collection day; subscribe to the website (upper right hand corner) in order to be notified.
Parking at Grace Church will be from 6 pm Dec. 13 to 6 pm Dec. 14 and at Fred Meyer from 8 pm Dec. 13 to 7 pm Dec. 14. Be sure your vehicle is removed from the space by those times.
Parking at these 2 locations are first-come, first-served and when the available spaces are full you will have to park elsewhere, such as across Broadway in order to avoid being towed.
Hi nice Post written by you guys. It is amazing and wonderful to visit your site. Thank a ton for such a nice post.
ReplyDeleteA correction to the above information: While we have secured some parking areas at the above mentioned locations, you MUST have a special parking pass displayed in your windshield in order to park there on the night/day of the leaf removal. Check back here on this blog by December 10th to find out where to get your parking pass. --Brenn Simonen, SGNA Safety
ReplyDeleteFurther clarification: the "parking pass" (actually a waiver form) will only be required for the available spaces at the Fred Meyer location.
