Part of Trimet's $12 million cost saving efforts include some changes in bus routes, including those that serve Sullivan's Gulch neighborhood. Below is a summary of changes to the routes in our neighborhood with links to the new maps. A link to all route changes is here.

Line 8 Jackson Park/ NE 15th - No changes in our area, through downtown to OHSU. Northern terminus will become Dekum and Durham for all buses. Here's the new route in a map: http://trimet.org/pdfs/schedulemaps/9-2-2012/008.pdf
Line 9 Powell/Broadway - No changes along Broadway-Weidler and north. When the Line 9 reaches downtown it will become the #17 Holgate. Here's the map: http://trimet.org/pdfs/schedulemaps/9-2-2012/017.pdf
Line 73 NE 33rd Ave. - (Will be renumbered #70.) No changes through the Gulch and north. In the Lloyd District at Multnomah and 9th and 11th Aves. it will connect to line 70 12th Aeve to Milwaukie. Line 77 Broadway/Halsey - NW Portland Will continue to use Broadway-Weidler as it passes by Sullivan's Gulch with no changes to the east. The changes are where it goes in NW Portland - across the Steel Bridge, up/down Everett -Glisan, turning on 21st to Thurman-Vaughan and circling around Montgomery Park for the return trip. New ticket prices: 1 price for any trip (no zones any longer) - $2.50 or $5 for a day pass; seniors continue at $1.10. See Trimet.org for youth fares.
Streetcar trips to OMSI, downtown and NW Portland begin Sept. 22. Trimet tickets will allow you to transfer to the Streetcar. Easy connection via line 9 on Broadway at 7th (stop ID 655) and Weidler (stop ID 6240) or line 77 closest stops are at 12th (streetcar turns at 7th Ave.) Here's the streetcar map: http://www.portlandstreetcar.org/node/4
