Solarize NE Workshops Solarize NE hosts workshops which cover the basics of going solar in Portland, including technical installation, financing options, the strengths of leasing versus purchasing solar panels and how to take advantage of available tax credits and incentives. Conducted by solar experts, the workshops are a great introduction to the process of installing solar panels. If you have specific questions, you can get those answered as well. Sunday, March 10th, at Umpqua Bank Alberta, 1745 NE Alberta Street, 11:00am - 12:30pm. Thursday, March 22nd, at the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods, 4815 NE 7th Ave., 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
