Sorry about the late notice, but I wanted to invite you to join us this Wednesday evening for NEBBA's annual meeting. Many of our customers and friends come from the surrounding neighborhoods, and obviously the more of us working together to create a stronger neighborhood/business district community the better! We're very cognizant of the fact that NE Broadway/Weidler borders six different neighborhoods from 6th to 33d Avenues.

Hear about last year's accomplishments and where NEBBA is headed in 2011. Topics will include marketing and promotion efforts; annual events; pedestrian and traffic issues; growth and land use plans; membership and finance; and more. Members will also elect this year's Board and Officers. Light snacks and beverages will be served.

Our special guest speaker is Heather Hoell, Executive Director of the Alliance of Portland Neighborhood Business Associations (APNBA). She'll discuss the state of Portland's business districts and why business district associations are crucial to their success; as well as how NEBBA members and area businesses can utilize available resources to improve the area's overall economic vitality. It's going to be informative and very useful.
